Poonam Malhotra is an accomplished Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience, having held senior leadership roles in prominent financial institutions.

Her career spans critical areas such as Audit, Due diligence, Credit risk, Governance, and Regulatory Compliance, with particular expertise in the UAE’s financial sector. Her previous roles in top-tier financial institutions involved building and implementing Robust Tax/ Governance frameworks, optimizing processes, and establishing resilient governance standards. Trained in Six Sigma, she identifies and drives efficiencies within her team, enhancing operational effectiveness while ensuring regulatory compliance. Over the years she has worked with diverse customers ranging from Start-ups, SMEs to Large Corporates across different industries. With her foundational experience at Deloitte, one of the Global Big Four audit firms, she brings a disciplined, strategic approach to Audit, Compliance, and Financial Management. Known for her niche in Risk, Compliance and Governance, she is a trusted advisor, ensuring regulatory needs of clients are met with precision and excellence.

Currently serving as an Associate Partner in our organization, she leads our Accounting Services and Compliance functions.
